Not a Holy Land

Brothers and sisters, do not forget.
Our campus is not a holy land.
It is neither a cave, nor a printing factory.

It is only a platform. No more. no less.

Do not be deceived by our achievement.

The number of halaqah [1] is not the trophy in pursuing for mardhotillah.
The quantity of mad'u [2] is not the medal in Islami practises.
The institutionalisation of Manhaj is not the goal in da'wah and tarbiyah.

We trust (tsiqah) and proud ('izzah) with our manhaj, not just wajihah or institutions!
Our manhaj is tarbiyah crosses curriculum. Crosses time. Crosses border. Crosses race. Crosses responsibilities. Crosses institutition. Crosses venue.

If there are da'ies that are spreading our manhaj in other campus / wajihah / institutions, we should be happy, not skeptical!
Their dream of da'wah is our dream of da'wah too.

"Let's dream be dream of da'wah!"
- UDMZ

What is the use of actively doing da'wah, but there are devastated ikhwah?
What is the meaning in successfully inserting tarbiah, but ukhuwwah fizzle out with the ikhwah who are not in the same institution?

Dakwah is not a competition, but it is takmil wa istikmal - complementary!

*Don't be too institutionalised!

Let's prove our syakhsiyah ma'nawiyah Islamiyah - be it with ikhwah, or with mad'u!

"Verily, the state of speaking is not the same as the state of imagining, the state of practising is not the same as the state of speaking, the state of striving is not the same as the state of practising, the state of striving the truth (al haq) is not the same as the state of striving evil (bathil)"
Hasan al-Banna, Risalah Muktamar Khamis

p.s. *Don't be too institutionalised! = don't get too attached to institutions (more than manhaj, at that).
IMHO, if you get too institionalised - the institution will be your comfort zone. This is what happens to a person when they are in a controlled environment for so long that it becomes the only way of life for them. We become "slaves" to our comfort zone, and we force ourselves to stay within that comfort zone because it's safe, it's familiar, and it's comfortable. Your comfort zone is a self-defined boundary that keeps you in a position that never changes. You become to rely on the things that take place so much, they come naturally.

Glossary - to be continued from time to time
[1] halaqah - small social circle or gathering or meeting of 6-12 people (similar to the concept of book club) where knowledge, experience and understanding of group's faith are discussed, studied and shared on regular basis in order to improve or develop the group members to be a better person in daily. Usually a more senior (in terms of knowledge and wisdom) member of the circle leads the group and moderates the progress and discipline in daily life of other members.
